learning platforms and student portals

community platforms

training programs

in-person events or workshops

These websites and services are collectively referred to as the “Site”

2. Educational Purpose

All programs, courses, materials, and guidance provided by Dented Code are for educational purposes only.

Dented Code does not guarantee employment, job placement, salary outcomes, or career advancement.

Results depend on multiple factors including but not limited to:

individual effort

skill development

portfolio quality

interview performance

job market conditions

previous experience

visa or work eligibility requirements

Every student's outcome will vary.

3. Intellectual Property

All content provided by Dented Code is the intellectual property of the Company unless otherwise stated.

This includes but is not limited to:

training videos

curriculum frameworks

coding exercises

downloadable materials

documents and presentations

graphics and branding

written content

learning resources

By enrolling in any program, you are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access these materials for personal educational use only.

You may not:

copy course materials

reproduce training content

resell course materials

share videos or downloads

distribute curriculum content

upload materials to public websites

Unauthorized distribution of course materials may result in termination of access and legal action.

4. Account Responsibility

When creating an account with Dented Code you agree to:

provide accurate information

maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials

use the account for personal use only

Accounts may not be shared.

You may not:

share login credentials

allow multiple users to access one account

distribute access to course materials

If account sharing is detected, Dented Code reserves the right to:

suspend access

terminate the account

revoke program access without refund

5. Subscription and Billing

Some programs offered by Dented Code operate on a monthly or yearly subscription basis.

By subscribing to a program you agree that:

your payment method will be automatically charged according to the selected billing cycle

subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled

you may cancel your subscription at any time

Cancelling a subscription will stop future billing.

However:

the current billing period remains active

no refunds will be issued for unused time

Access to course materials and community remains available until the end of the billing period.

6. Refund Policy

Dented Code offers a limited refund policy depending on the type of program.

Online Programs

Online courses and digital training programs are eligible for a 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase.

In-Person Training Programs

Longer in-person training programs are eligible for a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of enrollment.

Refund requests must be submitted via email to:

support@dentedcode.com

within the applicable refund period.

After the refund period expires, all payments are final and non-refundable.

If a refund is approved:

access to course materials

community access

training resources

will be revoked immediately.

7. Short In-Person Workshops and Events

Dented Code may offer short in-person workshops, intensives, or short courses that typically run for a few hours to several days.

Due to limited seating, venue costs, and event preparation:

all payments for short in-person workshops are final and non-refundable.

By registering for a workshop you agree that:

your seat is reserved specifically for you

refunds will not be issued for non-attendance

refunds will not be issued due to scheduling conflicts

In certain cases, Dented Code may allow a one-time transfer of the ticket to another person or future event, at the Company's discretion.

If Dented Code cancels an event, participants may be offered either:

a refund, or

transfer to a future event.

8. Community Participation

Some programs include access to a private student community.

By participating in any Dented Code community you agree to follow the Community Code of Conduct.

Dented Code reserves the right to:

remove posts or comments

suspend community access

remove members from programs

if behaviour violates community standards.

Removal from the community due to misconduct does not entitle the user to a refund.

9. Student Responsibility

Students are responsible for their own learning progress.

Dented Code provides:

training materials

guidance

community support

However success depends on the student's:

commitment

time investment

project completion

skill development

Failure to achieve personal learning goals does not qualify for a refund outside the stated refund policy.

10. Chargeback Policy

Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider, you agree to contact Dented Code support to attempt resolution.

Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:

suspension of account access

termination of program access

restriction from future purchases

Dented Code reserves the right to submit evidence including:

login activity

course access records

community participation records

to dispute fraudulent chargebacks.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dented Code shall not be liable for any:

direct damages

indirect damages

incidental damages

loss of income

employment outcomes

career results

arising from the use of the Site or participation in any program.

All materials are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

12. Third-Party Services

Dented Code may use third-party platforms including but not limited to:

payment processors

learning management systems

community platforms

hosting providers

Dented Code is not responsible for technical issues caused by third-party services.

13. Termination of Access

Dented Code reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to programs or services if a user:

violates these Terms

shares course materials illegally

engages in abusive behaviour

attempts to bypass payment systems

Termination may occur without refund.

14. Privacy

By using this website you agree to the Dented Code Privacy Policy.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

15. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
